Daniel Blake

Niles – Daniel E. Blake, 60, passed away at 5:27pm on Saturday, March 17, 2018 in Lakeland Hospital, Niles.

Dan was born on February 12, 1958 in Nashau, New Hampshire, to the late Franklin E. and Rita A. (Ravenell) Blake. Dan was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Blake; and son-in-law, Jessie King.

Dan is survived by his wife and loving companion of 21 years, Beverly (Wildeman) Blake; daughter, Annette King; step children, Karen Ausra and Christopher Ausra; grandchildren, Jacob, Isaac, and Ethan; sister, Ruth Ann Blake; and brother, Joshua Blake.

Dan enjoyed fishing, playing pool, racing events, working on model cars and anything to do with racing. He enjoyed spending time in his man cave with friends watching Michigan Football and Racing. He loved being a papaw.

Visitation will be 4-6pm on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 in HALBRITTER WICKENS FUNERAL HOME 615 E. Main St., Niles. Funeral Service will be 11am on Thursday, March 22, 2018 in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
