He enjoyed NASCAR and was a fan of the late driver Dale Earnhardt, Sr., and his son, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Conrad had season tickets for many years to Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn. He enjoyed camping and going fishing on Lake Erie and Lake Michigan. He also loved snowmobiling trips with friends up North, riding his motorcycle and cheering on Michigan football. Most of all, he enjoyed being home in his garage.
He was ready to help anyone with any urgent need, never hesitating to go out of his way to fix or build something. He enjoyed entertaining friends and family in his garage and loved having bonfires.

Conrad was wholehearted about every task in life. This attitude was kicked-up to a new level, to fight for every day with his friends and family, in whom that passion continues.
