Clint J. Hartline, Jr.

Clint Hartline, Jr. 91 of Niles, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023 in Center for Hospice Care in Mishawaka.

Clint was born in Galien, MI. to the late Clint and Alvena (Hemming) Hartline.

On July 28, 1951 in Buchanan, Clint married the former Betty M. Jones.  They celebrated a remarkable 68 years of marriage before her passing in March of 2020.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty, sisters, Violet Swem and Ruth Swaim.

Clint is survived by his son Ray (Karyn) Hartline of Niles, his grandson, Cooper Hartline.

Clint honorably served in the Army during the Korean War.  He was employed by Clark Equipment for 33 years doing work in Welding and Assembly.  He then worked for Securit Metal Products for 10 years in Packaging and Shipping.

Clint enjoyed watching the TV series, Heartland & Cowboy shows.  Clint took great pride in his yard.  He was a humble man who never complained and was always available and willing to help family if needed.

A Grave side service for Clint will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 2:00pm in Oakridge Cemetery in Buchanan.
