Cheryl Hurst

Cheryl Lynn Hurst, 60 of Olivet, MI, passed away at Hanson Hospice House in Stevensville on Friday, September 2, 2022.

Cheryl was born on February 16, 1962 in Carson City, Michigan to Robert and Juanita (Cortright) Brassell.

She is preceded in death by her father, Robert and husband, William Patrick Hurst.

Cheryl is survived by her children; Benjamin Hurst, Aimee (James) Reilly and Jessica (Mark) Necamp, Grandchildren; Sylvia, Isaac, Hunter, Chloe and Alexis. She is also survived by her sister Kris Miller of Niles and her brother David Brassell.

Cheryl, later in life, was able to become a Registered Nurse.  Her caring nature allowed her to work the elderly at The Laurels of Coldwater for several years. A kind and gentle person, Cheryl had a love for animals, especially cats and dogs. She also loved flowers.

In keeping with Cheryl’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home, 615 E. Main St. Niles.
