Mr. Bruce Wayne Hickok, age 65 years, formerly of Galien, Michigan died unexpectedly at 10:46 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2016 following a health episode while at work near his home in Vicksburg, Michigan. The family is grateful for the anonymous store patron who performed resuscitation until emergency services arrived, and for the efforts of the medics.
He was born on November 15, 1950 in Watervliet, Michigan to Warren Raymond and Joyce Luanna (Hickman) Hickok. He was graduated from the former Galien High School in 1969, and attended Western Michigan University. He moved in 1994 to Vicksburg, where he had been employed at the Family Fare Supermarket for twenty years as of this month.
Bruce was a fan of the Detroit Red Wings hockey team and the New York Yankees baseball team. He enjoyed fishing, especially teaching – with great patience - new generations to fish. His greatest joy was his family.
