Brooklyn Melody Lea Anders, 9 days passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 13, 2023.

Brooklyn may have only been with us for a short time. However, the love her family has for her will never be diminished.  She touched the hearts of so many. Her family will forever cherish the moments they had with her. They take comfort in knowing that Brooklyn is an Angel who watches over them.

Brooklyn is survived by her parents, Blake Allen Michael Anders and Madyson Rashelle Kay Russell of Dowagiac, Grandparents, James (Tammy) Russell of Dowagiac, Karmyn Russell of Arp, TX, Mark (April) Johnson of Dowagiac, Jamie (&Shawn Stewart) Coons of Dowagiac, Beth Marquart, Butch Johnson, Janet Willard, Great Grandparents, George (Edna) Tabbert of Dowagiac, Mike (Linda) Welch of Arp, TX, Carol (David) Eli of East Mountain, TX, Linda (Frank) Anders of Dowagiac, Great Great Grandparents, George Tabbert, Sr., Lilian (Pete) Anders of Dowagiac, Susette Kiska of Dowagiac, Aunts, Emily Chavarria of Dowagiac, Courtney Hershberger of Niles, Tiffany Hershberger of Niles, Breanna Anders, Reanna Anders, Teana Cowley, Amanda Johnson and Katie Johnson all of Dowagiac, Uncles, Michael Russell of Ohio and Seth Willard as well as numerous cousins and other extended family.

A time of gathering will take place on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home, 615 E. Main St. in Niles.
