Brandon Harpole

Brandon Allen Harpole, age 37 years of Niles, Michigan died unexpectedly on Friday, June 10, 2016 at his home.

He was born on April 28, 1979 in South Bend, Indiana to Michael Allen Cheney and Teresa Diane Harpole. He attended both Brandywine and Niles schools, and has lived here all of his life. He had been employed as a diesel mechanic.

“B” enjoyed hunting and fishing – often up at Baldwin, Michigan – and listened to an eclectic selection of music including classic rock and country. He is remembered as a generous individual, willing to do anything to help a friend.

On January 19, 2001 in Grand Rapids, Michigan he married the former Amanda Beth Owens, who survives. Also surviving are their children, Michael Harpole, Victoria Harpole, Elizabeth Harpole, and Mariska Harpole; his parents, Teresa D. (& Ronald) Earl of Niles and Michael A. (& Kelly) Cheney of Niles; and B’s siblings, Denise Harpole of Niles, Courtney Cheney of Mishawaka, Indiana, Tiffany Cheney of Buchanan, Michigan, Casey Tovey, and Shannon Earl Heather (& Joe) Turnock, Tamara Earl, and Korie Earl, all of Niles; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Brandon Harpole will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles with Pastor Jeffrey L. Whittaker of Michiana Christian Embassy officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 10:00 a.m.
