Beverly Ann Booth, age 73 years of Niles, Michigan passed away at 4:50 a.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2015 from a battle with pancreatic cancer. She was at her home with her family gathered around her.

She was born on May 27, 1941 in Decherd, Tennessee to James Allen and Ethel Bea (Pennington) Gipson. She graduated from Brandywine High School, and has lived in the area most of her life.

On November 19, 1970 in Huntsville, Alabama she married Leonard Earl “Len” Booth with whom she celebrated, last year, the Forty-fourth anniversary of their wedding.

Bev and her husband, Len formerly owned and operated the State Line Party Store in Niles. They enjoyed traveling throughout the United States in their van. Bev also enjoyed cooking, visiting the area casinos and spending time with her family.

Surviving family includes her husband Len and their children: Roxanne Reed of Niles, MI., Brenda (& Lance) Swank of Granger, IN., Tracy (& Dave) Luzadre of Niles, MI., Pam (& Scott) Zehrung of Edwardsburg, MI., and Len (& Sherri) Booth of Tampa, FL.. Grandchildren: Brian Turrell, James (& Yuki) Huntsman, Richie Reed, Baylee Swank, Jarod Swank, Ashley Luzadre, Sammi Luzadre, Tori Robb, Kristy Robb, Kalie Robb, Jacob Chlupacek, and Caitlin Robb. Great-grandchildren: Coley Robb, Abbie Miller, and Karina Huntsman. Brothers William Gipson and Tom Gipson, along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son Billy Robb who passed on July 7, 1999; grandsons Johnathon and Andrew Luzadre; brother, James A. Gipson and sister, Jean Vann.

The family of Bev Booth will gather privately to honor her life and share memories. Per her request there will be no services or viewing. Contributions in memory of Bev may be made to Hospice at Home, 4025 Health Park Lane, Saint Joseph, Michigan 49085. Arrangements were made at the Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles.
