Niles – Betty J. (Green) True, 87, passed away at 5:30am on Monday, January 22, 2018 in Grace Nursing Facility.

Betty was born on August 27, 1930 in Marked Tree, Arkansas to the late Benjamin H. Green and Bessy (Morrow) Chism. On February 26, 1955 in Niles, Betty married Jack R. True and he passed away on February 16, 2006.

Betty is survived by children, Kenneth R. (Patricia) True, and Jacqueline L. (Randy) Thomas; grandchildren, Thera L. Thomas, Amber (Thomas) Byers, Cory Thomas and Zachary Thomas; great-grandson, Connor Byers; and nephew, Jerry Glass and his family.

Betty was a Handfolder at Simplicity Pattern Company for 42 years. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and spending time with her family.

Visitation will be from 5-7pm on Thursday, January 25, 2018 in HALBRITTER WICKENS FUNERAL HOME 615 E. Main St. Funeral Service will be at 11am on Friday, January 26, 2018 in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.
