Betty M. (Holderman) Halasi, 90, of Niles passed away at 8:24pm on Monday, August 20, 2018 in her home.

Betty was born in Mishawaka, IN to the late Ira and Ava (McKinestry) Holderman.

On September 3, 1949 in South Bend, Betty married Alexander Halasi. He survives along with daughter, Kathy (Darrell) Goodman of Sullivan, IN; son Thomas (Toshimi) Halasi of Mooresville, NC; grandchildren Scott (Valeisha) Goodman, Shad (Jaimee) Goodman, Shannon (Brandy) Goodman, Christie (Christopher) Pierce, Kim (Nathan) Thrower, and Nick Halasi; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Betty was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. She enjoyed socializing with her Church lunch circle, especially Marilyn White and her family.

Family and friends may come visit with the family from 1-2pm on Friday, August 24, 2018 in HALBRITTER WICKENS FUNERAL HOME, 615 E. Main St., Niles.
