Anne Blank

Anne J. Blank, age 90 years of Niles, Michigan died of natural causes at 8:28 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the home of her son in Niles.

She was born on May 11, 1923 in South Bend, Indiana to John P. and Teophillia (Grygiel) Wozniak. She was graduated from South Bend Washington High School in 1942 and has lived in Niles since 1952. She was employed in the offices of the former Studebaker Corporation in South Bend, and at the former Wilson Brothers Tailors in South Bend.

Anne was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Niles. She enjoyed arts and crafts, but her greatest joy was caring for her family.

On July 5, 1952 in Niles she married Lloyd W. Blank who preceded her in death in January of 1998. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Irene Wozniak, Lillian Rhinehart, and Gladys Lung.

Surviving family includes her sons, Michael G. (& Kathleen) Blank of Niles and Timothy J. (& Paula) Blank of Mishawaka, Indiana; granddaughters Farran Kay Blank, Brandi Josephine Blank, Beth Ann Blank, and Tori Jean Blank; a great-granddaughter, and a niece, Sherry Russell.

The family of Anne Blank will be gathering for services privately at her graveside in Silverbrook Cemetery in Niles. Contributions in memory of Anne may be made to the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul. Arrangements were made at the Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles.
