Alice Marie Pratt

Alice Marie “Susie” Pratt, 86, of Niles, died peacefully Saturday November 16, 2024 in the comfort of her family’s presence. Her life began March 24, 1938 in Niles the first of four born to Abraham and Alice Hargreaves.

 Alice was hard working and kind hearted. She loved cooking for the holiday and could often be found out working on the farm. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

 Alice will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by one son, Michael Leroy Pratt Sr.; ten grandchildren, Lanty Jones, Dwayne Jones, Sharon Pratt, Heather (Johnathan) Carter, Kristy Pratt, Michelle Law, Larry (Amy) Mazingo, Matt Mazingo, Michael Pratt Jr., Austin Pratt; twenty-five great grandchildren, Michael, Danielle, Corbin, Johnathan II, Stacey, Caleb, Brittney, Nicoyia, T.J., Nazyla, Tyler, Payton, Abby, De’Mauri, Carl, Chase, Christian Mazingo, Da’Shaun, Asher, Corey, Christian Jones, Joey, Zoie, Haleigh; and two great- great grandchildren, Desmond, Madelynn, one sister, Helen “Cookie” (Ron) Bucha of California; one brother, Abraham “Skeeter” Hargreaves; and several nieces and nephews.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Leroy Pratt, son Ricky Pratt, daughter, Sheila Mazingo and brother James Hargreaves.

  Family and friends will gather Wednesday, November 20, 2024 in Halbritter Wickens Funeral Services, 615 E. Main Street Niles, from 11a.m. until the time of her Funeral Service at 12 noon. Alice will be laid to rest in Silverbrook cemetery.
